THE MATIAS ALMEYDA FC ACADEMY
LEARNING FOR ALL LEVELS OF YOUTH SOCCER.
MAFC Academy is a non-profit organization focused on player development through professional soccer training in the greater Houston area. The Academy works with boys and girls from ages 3 through 19 years old. Our programs are based on instructional systems currently used in top-league academies around the world. Our professional staff includes former players with experience in 1st Division Leagues, Youth Farm Development Teams, and internationally-competitive games including Copa Libertadores.
Boys and girls with distinctive talent can benefit significantly from the guidance and teaching techniques of our experienced coaches, helping them rise to the next level in their personal development and quality. We pride ourselves in our coaching staff’s professional approach and passion for the growth of our players. MAFC Academy is a self-contained academy; this means that we have our own facility and training grounds. It is our wish that you feel a strong sense of belonging once you step into our training center and call this ‘My Club,’ because you belong here.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to provide a safe and positive learning environment for all levels of youth soccer. We strive to provide our players with the necessary tools to help them reach the highest technical level in the sport. Our programs are based on our most valued principles of conduct: respect, honor, integrity, and teamwork. We aim to teach our players valuable lessons in character-building, perseverance, and dedication. Playing soccer provides them with skills that will support them throughout every aspect of their lives.
Our Academy’s intention is to build and instill technical concepts of the game for new and entry-level applicants, as well as shape and develop outstanding talent to prepare them for top-level competition. Overall, the Academy’s goal is the highest possible commitment to the development of youth players. Our ambition is to be the people’s club that has the community at its core. The MATC Academy and all of its administrative group, professional coaching staff and field management are committed to this mission.
